Manav Suthar Creates History: India dominated Afghanistan over two days at the New Chandigarh Stadium in Mullanpur.

On his debut, 23-year-old Manav Suthar stood out with his left-arm spin, taking three wickets on Day 2 to help India stay ahead.

Afghanistan’s openers started quickly, scoring 28 runs from 30 balls in the first five overs against India’s pace bowlers.

Later, Suthar bowled a ball that dipped late and turned just enough to catch the outside edge, giving Sai Sudharsan a simple catch at second slip.

Suthar took his third wicket with the last ball of the day. He bowled a ball that stopped off the pitch, making Afsar Zazai give a leading edge. Suthar caught it himself.

He was told by her that his name had appeared in the Indian team, and when confirmation was asked for by him, she said "yes.

Everyone was emotional when I got the call. "Dad, Mom, and everyone called me. They couldn't believe it. I can't describe it in words. It's the biggest feeling. You work hard for years, and then you finally get selected for India.

It's the best feeling of my life." Suthar also mentioned that former India all-rounder Yuvraj Singh and legendary off-spinner R Ashwin are his biggest inspirations. He said he is his own favourite cricketer, but he really admires R Ashwin.
