Is Akshaye Khanna Returning in Race 4?
Buzz is that Akshaye Khanna, who rose to fame with blockbusters Chhava and Dhurandhar, is said to return to Race 4.
Well, this may seem like good news for Akshaye fans, but before it could have elevated their happiness, producer Ramesh Taurani has responded to this claim.
Producer Ramesh Taurani Clears The Buzz Around Akshaye’s Return to the Race Franchise?
According to Akshaye Khanna's latest Bollywood update, producer Ramesh Taurani, the buzz around Akshaye Khanna becoming a part of Race 4 is absolutely false.

Is Race 4 Akshaye Khanna's next film after Dhurandhar?
Clarifying the reports of the reunion of Akshaye Khanna and Saif Ali Khan in the latest franchise, he denied approaching the Dhurandhar actor.
He further said that there is no scope for accommodating the actor into the film.
According to him, his antagonist character ended with the accident in the first part (2008); hence, there will be no further changes to the script.

In the second and third parts, we saw John Abraham and Saqib Saleem playing the antagonist roles.
Now, with the news of its fourth instalment, fans are crazy about the star cast. Well, as of now, no official update on the actors in the film has been revealed yet.

Akshaye Khanna Riding High With Dhurandhar's Massive Success
Coming back to Akshaye Khanna, the actor is on a high ride after Dhurandhar’s record-breaking success with Rs 871.90 crore at the domestic box office.
It is continuing to grab the footfall of cinema goers, and has not yet slowed down.
Moreover, it has broken records of previous blockbusters like Bahubali 2, Pushpa 2, Jawan, Animal, Stree 2, and Chhava.
After shining in the role of cruel Mughal emperor Aurangzeb in Chhava, Akshaye bounced back with his butcher gangster role of Rehman Dakait in Dhurandhar.
His iconic dialogue, Jo wada kiya hai usse bhulne ki gustakhi mat karna, Rehman Dakait ki di hui maut badi kasainuma hoti hai, has become widely popular.
The good news is Dhurandhar will stream on Netflix on January 30, 2026. Through Akshaye’s character's death in the movie, he will be seen again in its second part, which is slated for a March release.
The viral track of Bahraini rapper Flipperachi “FA9LA” showed Akshaye Khanna dancing with a dimpled smile in his black outfit and black sunglasses, which is now very popular.
Ever since the release of this action-packed movie, Akshaye has re-gained his fandom on social media channels. Now the reels from his past movies are also active.
Which Will Be Akshaye Khanna’s Next Film after Dhurandhar?
After gaining success with his negative roles in movies Chhava and Dhurandhar, you will see Akshaye Khanna as Guru Shukracharya (Teacher of demons), in the upcoming movie Mahakali.
It will mark his first Tollywood debut.
The other projects in the pipeline are Salman Khan Kick 2 and Sunny Deol’s Ikka. Akshaye will be the main villain in these films.
Will Akshaye Continue Playing a Baddie?
Now, it will be too early to speculate whether we will see Khanna playing the negative roles repeatedly. It depends on the script.
There might be possibilities where he would experiment with other roles beyond his antagonist portrayals.
