Dhurandhar’s wave seems not to end so soon. According to a recent entertainment update, actor R. Madhavan has once again made a revelation, this time about the 26/11 scene, in which actors Akshaye Khanna and Arjun Rampal got emotional.
Dhurandhar Ban: Movie Still a Craze Among Dubai People
The actor who plays Ajay Sanyal has said that, despite a ban in Middle Eastern countries, filmmaker Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandhar has made an impressive $32 million overseas, with a worldwide gross of Rs 1,300 crore.
Now, since the sequel to this movie, titled Dhurandhar: The Revenge, is all set for its March release, there is news of Dubai-based people planning business meetings in India to watch this highest-grossing Bollywood movie.
Dhurandhar Success Reflects the Power of Good Content, Says Actor R. Madhavan
Sharing the success of Dhurandhar during a podcast with Sonia Shenoy on YouTube, actor R. Madhavan calls it the power of good content.
The movie’s success can be measured by the level of excitement among people in Dubai about scheduling business meetings in India to get a chance to watch the Dhurandhar sequel on March 19 after the meeting.
Since the action blockbuster sequel is not releasing in Dubai, this is the main reason people from this country are craving to watch it in India through their scheduled business meetings.
Additionally, Madhavan says that even though they can watch it on IPTV, they are interested in watching the movie in a packed theatre.
During his statement, he also mentioned that filmmakers have centred action films on themes of the India-Pakistan conflict, which have long dominated the industry’s storytelling zone.
New Generation No Longer Interested In Revisiting Indo-Pak Centred Themed Films
The films made on the India-Pakistan war conflict have gripped the audience, but as of now, the new generation is no longer interested in revisiting the same-themed stories, believes Dhurandhar actor.
He said, They’re like, samajh gaya main, kitni baar bologe?
Madhavan thinks that after Dhurandhar, this whole India-Pakistan stuff will soon go away. It will be a full stop now.
