Dhurandhar Censored Scenes; Fans Unhappy With Editing
Ever since its Netflix release, fans have started watching it. But aside from the excitement, fans are also disappointed by cuts in the film and muted dialogues, amid objections to certain terms like ‘Baloch’ and other offensive words.
Netflix announced Dhurandhar in three different languages on its social media platforms with a caption, ‘Watch Dhurandhar, the epic saga unfold.
At first, it made fans elated, who shared their excitement in the comments. But within hours of OTT release, people started giving their reactions on X.
Why Fans Got Angry Over Netflix Version of Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar?
Dhurandhar’s OTT release delighted many Ranveer Singh fans, but they were soon upset by the censored version.
The film was trimmed to 10 minutes, and the dialogue that seemed abusive and offensive was muted.
In movie theatres, it ran for up to 3 hours and 34 minutes. But on Netflix, it is cropped to 3 hours and 25 minutes only.
This irritated fans, who had been expecting the uncensored version. Some even criticised the logic of censoring an adult film on an 18+ platform, when there are shows that depict scenes of sex and nudity.
Negative Reactions on Social Media
When people noticed all these changes, they blurted about it on their X profiles and shared their negative reactions.
One user mentioned that Netflix India has spoiled viewers' moods by offering a censored version. They wanted the original censored one.

Dhurandhar 2: When Will It Stream?
After the colossal success of Dhurandhar Chapter 1, fans are keeping their fingers crossed to watch its sequel. Well, the good news is that it is expected to stream by March 19, 2026.
Akshaye Khanna, who was once again seen in the negative role of Rehman Dakait in the movie after playing Mughal emperor Aurangzeb in Chhava, will be seen again in the second part.
Now you may wonder: if his character was killed at the end, how come he will be seen alive in the next part?
The answer to this is that he won’t be returning as a living character in his own right, Rehman Dakait, but the scenes will show his past.
Although every actor performed well in their respective roles, it was Akshaye Khanna who overshadowed them with his intense, daunting portrayal of the antagonist.
Once the romantic Manav of Taal, he is now loved by his fans as the butcher villain of Dhurandhar.
He will be next seen as Guru Shukracharya in the upcoming film Mahakali. Akshaye is also roped in for negative roles in Salman Khan’s Kick 2 and Sunny Deol’s Ikka.
Talking about Arjun Rampal, he too was once a romantic face with films like Pyaar Ishq Aur Mohabbat, Dil Hai Tumhara and Dil Ka Rishta, but his transition to the negative role of Major Iqbal has once again proved his acting prowess.
Now, for the fans of Ranveer Singh, they will see him next in Dhurandhar Part 2, Don 3, and Pralay.
