Salman Khan Controversy: Fan Incident at Goa Airport

A new controversy surrounding Salman Khan surfaced on Tuesday when a video of his alleged misconduct with a fan went viral. The incident took place at Goa Airport, where Salman Khan had arrived to shoot portions of his upcoming movie Radhe: The Most Wanted Bhai.

In the video, a staff member tried to click a selfie with the actor, and Salman Khan snatched the fan's phone, sparking widespread outrage.

NSUI Demands Ban on Salman Khan

Following the incident, the National Students Union of India (NSUI), the student wing of Congress, requested Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant to ban Salman Khan’s entry into the state until he issues a public apology.

NSUI President Ahraz Mulla wrote an official letter to the Chief Minister stating:

"I request your kind authority to look into this matter with utter seriousness and demand an apology from the actor on a public platform since it was a disgrace to the fan publicly. Failing which, such violent actors with a bad track record should not be allowed to visit Goa in the future."

Criticism on Social Media

Several public figures and netizens expressed their disappointment with Salman Khan's behavior:

  • Narendra Sawaikar tweeted that the actor’s behavior is “deplorable”:

"Being a celebrity, people & your fans will take selfies in public places. Your attitude & behaviour is most deplorable. You have to tender an unconditional public apology."

  • Navin Pai Raikar also criticized Salman Khan on Twitter:

"Uncle this is not the way you behave in #Goa! Yea #Mumbai ka footpath nahi hai where you crush people under your car and get away! @BeingSalmanKhan you should apologise."
