Film Gabru will be distributed across India via PVR INOX Pictures, signalling a wider theatrical release.

​The soundtrack features compositions by Mithoon and lyrics by Sayeed Quadri, Anurag, Saikya, and Satinder Sartaj.

​During a recent interview with a news agency, actor Sunny Deol shared his personal insights on the project.

​He calls Gabru one of the closest films to his heart.

While celebrating Border 2's success, which crossed the ₹440 crore mark worldwide, Sunny Deol acknowledged the immense love and support his fans have shown him.

​Reflecting on his renewed popularity, he stated ‘’itne saal pata nahi kaha chupa hua tha.’’

​He appreciates receiving such a positive response. The Border 2 actor further said that it is all because of working hard, loving your profession, and never getting disheartened with failures.

​Additionally, he emphasised the importance of valuing time, noting that no one knows when it arrives or when it leaves; one should be ready.

Sunny Deol Bounces Back After the Success of Border 2

Sunny Deol is back with his action image after the colossal success of his recent movie Border 2.

​It prompted fans to recall his 90s Border movie, in which he starred with Jackie Shroff, Suniel Shetty, and Akshaye Khanna.

​The movie is currently available to stream on an OTT platform.

​In Border 2, Sunny reprised his role of Major Kuldip Singh Chandpuri, the same as in JP Dutta’s 1997 hit Border.

​It also starred Varun Dhawan as Major Hoshiar Singh Dahiya in the Indian Army, singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh as Flying Officer Nirmal Jit Singh Sekhon in the Indian Air Force, and Ahan Shetty as Lieutenant Commander Mahendra Singh Rawat in the Indian Navy.

​Playing the Lawyer Once Again in Ikka

Besides Gabru, fans will see Sunny Deol once again as a lawyer in a courtroom drama, Ikka. This is the second time he has essayed this role, after his 90s hit Damini.

​The dialogue in this film is still popular. In Ikka, he will be seen against Akshaye Khanna, who plays the antagonist.

​The film's trailer has already been streamed. It will be released on Netflix. However, no official release date has been announced yet.
