Donald Trump Issues Ultimatum for Gaza To End War
On Friday, an ultimatum was issued to Hamas by US President, Donald Trump who ordered it to accept the Gaza peace deal with Israel.
Refusing or missing the deadline (Sunday, 6:00 PM) will trigger hell like a situation that had never happened before.
Since every country has signed it, Hamas must act swiftly on this last chance agreement.
Failing to do so will only lead to serious consequences. The US President also urged Palestinians to remove their presence from conflict zones.
20-Point Gaza Peace Plan: What Does It Means
The ultimatum of restoring peace has come after the announcement of the 20-Point Gaza Peace Plan earlier this week by Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the White House.
Speaking on the peace plan, Trump said that it has been accepted by Middle East nations after 3000 years, ensuring the safety of remaining Hamas combatants. Let’s know more about this peace plan.
- The 20-Point Gaza Peace Plan intends to make Gaza free of terror and pose no threat to neighboring nations.
- Working for the betterment of the people of Gaza, improving their living standards.
- After the acceptance of this peace plan from both sides, the war would be discontinued with immediate effect, Israeli forces would retreat, and release hostages.
- All the hostages, whether dead or alive, will be returned to their homes after the approval of Israel within 72 hours.
- In return for each Israeli deceased hostage, Israel will return 15 remains of Gazans.
- Hamas members who have chosen peace over arms will be pardoned, while others have to leave Gaza peacefully.
- Gaza will receive humanitarian aid, and there will be work on the development of infrastructure, hospitals, bakeries, and wreckage removal.
- UN, Red Crescent, and neutral international agencies will manage the aid delivery.
- Till the Palestinian Authority reforms and takes over, the technocratic Palestinian Committee under the observance of the ‘’Board of Peace'', chaired by Donald Trump, will temporarily run Gaza.
- To re-establish Gaza, economic reforms will be introduced, which will help in raising employment and attracting investments.
- There will be the creation of a special economic zone with preferential trade terms.
- No person would be forced to leave Gaza. It will be done with an independent decision.
- Once fully unarmed, the weapons would be dismantled under Buyback programs and international monitoring.
- In Gaza, the ISF (International Stabilisation Force) will be deployed temporarily. It will have support from Arab and other partners around the globe.
- They will train Palestinian forces and secure the borders of Egypt and Israel.
- Talks for Israel and the Palestinians would be initiated by the United States to establish a political framework for the existing peace.
