If there was Samuel Samson, who, with his standout performance, helped India post a robust total with his confident strokes and timely boundaries, Jacob Bethell, from the England cricket team, who, with his innings, raised hopes for his team, making a competitive chase till the final overs.
Bowlers Also Share Credit for India’s Victory besides Batters
Even though India’s batting order proved strong enough in securing India’s victory, the efforts of Indian bowlers also cannot be overlooked.
They are equally credited with defending India's total by putting pressure on England batters, preventing them from scoring quickly.
All thanks to Hardik Pandya, who slowed the scoring pace of England batsmen during the critical match stage with his performance.
England was finally knocked out at 246/7 (20 overs).
