Pakistan Airstrikes on Kabul: 400 Dead in Hospital Attack
On Monday, Afghanistan made accusations against Pakistan for targeting Kabul’s drug rehabilitation hospital, which caused the death of 400 people.

The Kabul airstrike took place after Afghan officials stated that the two sides had indulged in counter fire attack along their shared border.
According to media reports, during the exchange of fire, four people in Afghanistan lost their lives, as the fierce battle between the neighbours in recent years has entered its third week.
Pakistan Airstrikes on Kabul: Country Rejects Afghanistan Allegation
According to Pakistan’s Information Ministry, Pakistan, which was accused by Afghanistan of its airstrikes on a hospital in Kabul, called it baseless and misleading.
Pakistan denied aiming at civilian locations during its airstrikes in eastern Afghanistan.
Afghanistan-Pakistan Conflict: 400 Killed, 250 Injured
In his post on X, Hamdullah Fitrat, the deputy government spokesman of Afghanistan, said that the airstrike hit the hospital at around 9:00 PM, causing devastation of large parts of the 2,000-bed facility.
According to him, the strikes claimed the lives of 400 people and left 250 were reportedly injured.
The footage shared by local television stations on X showed security personnel using flashlights while carrying casualties from the site. Firefighters also attempted to extinguish the flames amid the building's ruins.
Fitrat also spoke about the rescue teams' efforts to prevent the fire from spreading and recover bodies.
Pakistan-Afghanistan War Update: Pakistan Dismisses the Accusation on Kabul Hospital Attack
Rejecting Afghanistan’s allegations on Pakistan, the Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s spokesman, Mosharraf Zaidi, defended his country and called the claims baseless, saying no hospital in Kabul was targeted.
As per Pakistan-Afghanistan news, the post, which was made on X before the announcement of Afghan officials on the death toll, Pakistan’s Ministry of Information stated that the strikes mainly targeted military sites and facilities used by Afghan Taliban and Afghanistan-based Pakistani militants in Kabul and Nangarhar.
Adding further, he said that innocent Pakistani civilians were the target of this stored equipment and ammunition.
The ministry also stated that targeting was done cautiously, ensuring no collateral damage occurred.
Describing Mujahid’s claim as ‘False and misleading, the ministry said it was an intentional attempt to generate sentiment and cover up the alleged support of cross-border terrorism.
Pakistan-Afghanistan War: Reason for Dispute Between the Two Neighbouring Nations
As per the Pakistan war latest news, the recent strike happened hours after Afghan officials made a statement on the exchange of fire between the two countries along their shared border. It resulted in the death of four people in Afghanistan.
The latest battle is the worst between the two nations in years. It started in late February after Afghanistan initiated cross-border attacks. In response to it, Pakistan also backfired with airstrikes that took the lives of civilians, as claimed by Kabul.
The clashes between the two countries also disrupted a ceasefire arranged by Qatar in October.
Since then, Pakistan has waged an open war against Afghanistan, triggering international concern due to the presence of militant groups in the region.
As far as Pakistan claims, it says that hundreds of Afghan Taliban fighters have lost their lives, while Afghanistan rejects the claims and says its forces killed the Pakistani troops.
