Megha Agarwal: Who Is She?
Megha Agarwal was working with Meesho for 6 years. She joined the e-commerce company in September 2019.
During her time in office, she held multiple positions under her leadership. She was the chief of staff, vice president, and general manager for both user growth and CXO-growth in October 2023.
Megha succeeded Utkrishta Kumar, who left the company after a five-year stint. The main reason for his exit was that he wanted to start his own fintech venture.
In October 2023, she assumed the role of CXO (Business). Aggarwal pursued a B.Tech degree in Electrical Engineering (Power) from IIT Delhi.
She also holds a Master’s degree in management from INSEAD (European Institute of Business Administration).
Before Meesho, Megha had experienced working in AT Kearney Consulting and Nomura Financial Advisory & Securities.
In FY25, Agarwal got an aggregate compensation of Rs 2.29 crore, including an annual variable pay of Rs 9.4 lakh for FY24, paid in FY25.
Exit During Meesho IPO Success
Megha stepped down from her leadership at a time when Meesho is adapting itself into a listed company.
Its initial public offering (IPO) in December 2025 became one of the major tech listings in India. According to a media report, the IPO was a big success from the first day, with each share costing Rs 111, making the total value of the company $5.6 billion.
Brief about Meesho: One of the Leading Online Marketplaces
Meesho is one of India’s leading marketplaces. Co-founded by Vidit Aatrey and Sanjeev Kumar, Meesho operates as an e-commerce platform listing a variety of products related to beauty, lifestyle, affordable fashion, kitchen, and household.
This company bridges the gap between consumers, sellers, content creators, and logistics partners, and has established itself as a valuable player in the e-commerce sector.
Who Else Left Meesho Besides Megha?
Besides Megha, Shikhar Saxena, who once worked as a product manager and later rose to group product manager, expressed his gratitude when Meesho went public. He joined the company in 2018.
Recalling his experience at Meesho, he acknowledged the hard work and dedication of a small group of people who united in solving problems against all odds, at a time when Amazon and Flipkart dominated the market.
No one imagined that a third e-commerce player would make a mark in the e-commerce space.
Milan Partani To Head Multiple Roles Megha Held Once in Meesho
After Megha Aggarwal resigned from Meesho, the company will enhance Milan Partani’s role. He currently serves as General Manager of User Growth & Content Commerce.
He is going to take up responsibilities that Megha once had. Hence, he will manage overseeing growth, content commerce, and other business operations. These will be a part of the leadership alignment.
Hence, we can say that Milan Partani will take up senior responsibilities that were once part of his predecessor, Megha Aggarwal.
