Rajpal Yadav News: Bail Approved in Cheque Bounce Case

As per recent Rajpal Yadav news update, the comedian-actor has been granted bail in a Rs 9-crore cheque-bounce case.

With 30 years of experience in Bollywood, Rajpal Yadav has featured in over 200 films.

​Recently, he faced legal trouble over a cheque bounce case, followed by his surrender after the Delhi High Court rejected his bail plea of granting extra time to repay Rs 9 crore.

His sentence was later put on hold by the court till March 18, after he deposited Rs 1.5 crore in the complainant’s bank account.

Rajpal Yadav's Bail: Actor Calls For Prison Reforms

After being released from Tihar Jail on February 17, the actor spoke to the media, suggesting improvements to prison facilities.

​According to Rajpal Yadav's statement, there should be designated smoking areas inside jails, just as seen in railway stations and airports.

Also, prisons must operate as centres of rehabilitation, where inmates must have proper opportunities to improve their lives.

​Rajpal also made a point that authorities must enforce the law on those who are reluctant to change.

​He also said that it often becomes very difficult to judge whether a criminal is a one-time offender or a habitual offender.

Actors Who Provided Financial Aid To Rajpal Yadav

After his surrender at Tihar Jail, actors Sonu Sood, Gurmeet Choudhary, and music composer Rao Inderjit Yadav provided financial assistance to Yadav’s family and requested others to lend support during this crucial phase for the actor.
