She thanked Australian audiences for their warm welcome and said that entertaining people around the world has been the greatest gift of her career.

Rani also said that Australia has always welcomed her and Indian cinema. She described Australia as a place where cultures connect through stories and where films prove that emotions do not need passports.

She added that love, laughter, and hope are understood everywhere.

She also talked about the bond between actors and audiences. She said that while actors perform in front of a camera, the real story starts when their work touches someone’s heart.

She felt humbled that, after three decades, her films, characters, and voice had reached far beyond her home and still mattered to people.

Brief on Rani Mukerji's Film Career

Rani Mukerji’s film career took off in 1998, when she gained major recognition for her roles in Ghulam and, especially, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai.

She appeared in several films after that, but Saathiya in 2002 marked a turning point in her career.

She continued her successful streak with movies like Chalte Chalte, Yuva, Hum Tum, Veer-Zaara, and Black.

Her role in Black was widely praised by critics, and she became the only actress to win both Best Actress and Best Actress – Critics at the same Filmfare Awards.

She went on to earn praise for her performances in Bunty Aur Babli, Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna, No One Killed Jessica, and Talaash.
