Why did Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna Slam Trolls after Koffee With Karan
Actors Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda (Virosh to his fans) have filed a complaint with the Hyderabad Cyber Crime unit on Monday. The complaint filed is in concern to probe about the fake content, online harassment, false screenshots, and impersonation targeted at the couple on social media.
Vijay Rashmika Slam Trolls After Koffee with Karan: The controversy surrounding Rashmika and Vijay Deverakonda came to a head after the couple appeared on Koffee with Karan Season 9 on 21st October when they spoke for the first time about their relationship and marriage. Rashmika stated during the programme that she had asked Vijay to marry her every single day for a year. This resulted in a fair bit of criticism, mockery and, as per their team, a number of false stories being circulated with the sole intention of damaging their reputation.

Vijay Rashmika Cybercrime Complaint: In response to the complaint by the actors, the screenshots were intentionally doctored to harass them. They do however make it clear that to express an opinion is not the same as disseminating false, doctored or misleading content as fact. The cast have raised hopes about the matter that must be investigated in accordance with the law and that the deliberate creation and dissemination of false narratives, including any coordinated or paid campaign that can be demonstrated by evidence, will be dealt with appropriately," the statement says.

Vijay Rashmika Slam Trolls After Koffee With Karan: The statement also cautioned about sharing of unlawful content that would of course take legal action if required. Following the Koffee with Karan episode, social media was ablaze with posts lambasting Vijay Deverakonda for his 'ask me 100 times' comment on marriage. There were numerous accounts circulating false stories about the couple's relationship, with some going so far as to fabricate rumours of a divorce just 8 months after their February 2026 wedding.
Deverakonda on social media asked people to respect their boundaries and not to centre their attention on such nonsense. Vijay called Rashmika his bestie and wife that seems to be the best thing happened to him. He went on to state that if no one else is going to be kind or respectful, then they can all go f**k themselves.
Rumours of Vijay – Rashmik Divorce
Vijay Rashmika Slam Trolls After Koffee With Karan: After the episode of Koffee with Karan, the false rumours about Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandana rift spread on social media. It claimed that Vijay has unfollowed Rashmika. But as per Vijay he has yet not followed anyone on social media till date. Responding to unfollowing Rashmika, he pointed towards pages that spread breakup and divorce stories. Such posts also make a mention in the complaint filed by the actors to cyber cell.
Recalling Ranveer Deepika Koffee with Karan Episode
In some Instagram and X accounts there have been comparisons with the episode of Vijay - Rashmika at Koffee with Karan episode with the much-talked episode featuring Deepika and Ranveer Singh on the same chat show in 2023. It was then when Deepika stated about taking time to marry Ranveer. Deverakonda also revealed that it took lot of time for him in confirming his relationship with Rashmika. After that, the Raanabali actor faced flak with offensive comments made about him and Rashmika.
