Bollywood Veteran Star Dharmendra Fighting for Life in Hospital

Fondly known as Bollywood’s original ‘He-Man,’ actor Dharmendra is in critical condition. Fans who grew up watching his films are praying for his well-being. Last week, the actor complained of breathlessness and was rushed to Mumbai’s Breach Candy hospital. 

However, his elder son Sunny Deol dismissed the rumours, assuring that his father is on the road to recovery.

Dharmendra is well-known for his films like Sholay, Pratigya, Chupke Chupke, The Burning Train, Dharamveer, and Life in a Metro. Back in April 2025, the actor was also spotted with a bandage on his right eye. 

However, he was discharged later. He had an interaction with the paparazzi, who called him a strong man. He said, “Abhi bohot dum hai, abhi bhi bohot jaan hai… Meri aankh mein graft hua hai.’’

The actor was last seen in Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Diya and is set to appear next in the family drama thriller Maine Pyaar Kiya Phir Se, co-starring Arbaaz Khan. Dharmendra has been one of the iconic stars who still has a massive fan following, like his sons, Sunny and Bobby.
