IRS Officer Daughter’s Murder Case: A 23-year-old house help committed two crimes in 12 hours. He first raped a neighbour in Alwar, Rajasthan. Then he travelled to Delhi, where he raped and killed a 22-year-old woman in her apartment.

The victim was reportedly the daughter of an IRS officer, and the house help had previously been employed by her family.

According to reports, on Tuesday night, the accused, Rahul Meena, purportedly visited his neighbour’s house in Alwar at 10:30 PM.

​Before committing the sexual crime, Meena first pushed the victim and assaulted her.

At first, he covered her mouth, threw her on the floor, and then raped her.

​He even bit her body in several places.

While leaving her house, he threatened her not to inform anyone about the crime, or else he would kill her husband and children along with her.

However, the victim showed courage and revealed everything to the Alwar Police, who registered an FIR based on her complaint.

East of Kailash murder case: The next morning, Rahul Meena reached a housing society in South-East Delhi’s Amar Colony at 6:30 PM.

He then went to his former employer’s house at around 6:39 AM and left the house at 7:30 AM.

When the girl’s parents came back from the gym around 8:00 PM, they found their daughter’s lifeless, naked body in a pool of blood.

To track the rape accused, a team of 15 policemen was formed by Delhi Police.

CCTV cameras installed at the society gate and the building entrance, which was the victim's residence, helped them gather initial leads and determine the direction where the accused escaped.

Based on the footage, an auto-rickshaw on which the accused boarded was tracked.

Police found the driver, who told them that he had dropped him off at a hotel.

After that, the police rushed to the hotel and nabbed the accused.

IRS Officer Daughter’s Murder Case:  The IRS officer hired Rahul Meena on the recommendation of another officer. He worked for nearly a year. When his family discovered his betting habits, he was fired from his job.

To fund his betting, Rahul kept the family in the dark and borrowed money from people living nearby.

​He played a clever tactic by asking the family for money to purchase medicines, but didn’t pay the shopkeeper and took the medicines on credit instead.

​When the family caught him red-handed, he was dismissed thereafter.

Rape Accused Spotted on CCTV Footage

Investigators said CCTV footage showed Meena entering the residential complex around 6:28 am, wearing a yellow shirt and black trousers.

About an hour later, cameras recorded him leaving at 7:22 am in different clothes: white trousers and what looked like a long-sleeve yellow T-shirt.

​Sources said he was carrying a black backpack when he left the Kailash Hills residence.

Investigators think he may have changed clothes after the crime and briefly stopped at a nearby park before leaving the area.

Her parents found her in a pool of blood with belongings scattered around the house when they returned at about 8 am.

The victim's clothes were torn, and she was partially unclothed from the waist down.

​Preliminary investigations suggest she was raped before being strangled, allegedly with a mobile phone charger cable.

The police have filed a case of rape, murder, and robbery, although confirmation of sexual assault is pending the results of a medical examination.

​Police said Meena was hired after a recommendation from another officer. While working for the family, he reportedly took money for errands but did not pay shopkeepers, instead buying items on credit. This behavior reportedly led to his dismissal.
