JSSC CGL Exam Cancellation: Devendra Mahto ends Indefinite Hunger Strike

JSSC CGL Exam Cancellation: On Monday, the Jharkhand government announced it would cancel the JSSC-CGL exam and all recruitment tests conducted by the outsourced agency TDPL since 2014.

Jharkhand Recruitment Exam: Ministers Dipika Pandey Singh and Irfan Ansari were also present at the meeting. Candidates who passed the JSSC-CGL exam protested at Project Bhawan in Ranchi, opposing the government's decision to cancel the test.

They urged the government to reconsider and said they would continue their fight through legal and democratic means.

Speaking to the media, he said the students would back the government's investigation into the alleged irregularities.

JSSC CGL exam cancellation: After the Chief Minister announced the cancellation of the JSSC-CGL and all other TDPL exams, student leader Devendra Nath Mahato spoke with activist Sonam Wangchuk over a video call.

Mahato said that Wangchuk inspired and guided the students during their protest. He also mentioned that the government accepted their demands on the 16th day of the hunger strike and the 23rd day of the movement.

Soren said that investigations by the CID and SIT had revealed several unexpected findings.

JSSC CGL Exam Cancellation: After the student leaders ended their hunger strike, Jharkhand Minister Irfan Ansari said the government had agreed to all their demands, calling them important and a major concern.

He explained that Chief Minister Hemant Soren made this choice to support young people. Ansari also said the protest, which was meant to help the youth, had ended.

He said the student leaders had a full medical check-up before leaving. According to him, all three were healthy, with normal blood pressure and blood sugar levels.

He added that, based on the information he received, everything was fine.
