After that, IndiGo flight 6E882 made its first departure, flying at 8:40 AM to Hyderabad. 

The inaugural flight became more special with the presence of Indian cricket star Suryakumar Yadav, along with other notable figures and passengers who were excited for this momentous occasion.

After years of planning and construction, the airport has entered its final operational phase. It aims to reduce congestion at Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport.
