Former CSK Coach Stephen Fleming: Stephen Fleming, the former New Zealand captain, is expected to become England's new Test coach after Brendon McCullum was dismissed earlier this month.

Stephen Fleming was born on April 1, 1973, in Christchurch, New Zealand.

He was a left-handed batsman known for his elegant shots, including the flick off the pads, straight drive, cover drive, and cut.

Famous for his smart tactics, Fleming played 111 Test matches, making him New Zealand’s second-most capped Test player.

He remains the country’s leading run-scorer in both Tests and ODIs, with 7172 Test runs (9 centuries and 46 fifties) and 8037 ODI runs (8 centuries and 49 fifties).

Over more than a decade as captain, Fleming led New Zealand in 218 matches, recording 98 wins and 106 losses.

In September 2007, Fleming said he would stay on as captain. That month, he also announced he would keep playing Test cricket for New Zealand but retire from ODIs.
