Shatrughan Sinha BJP IT Cell: Sonakshi Sinha was among the first Bollywood stars to support the CJP-led student protest in Delhi. After she spoke up, she faced a wave of online trolling.

Her father, veteran actor and TMC member Shatrughan Sinha, has now responded to the trolling and addressed rumours about Sonakshi possibly entering politics.

This is not the first time Sonakshi has been targeted by online trolls. She also faced significant criticism on social media after marrying Zaheer Iqbal.

She added that even with everything happening, the protesters stayed calm and respectful, sharing their views peacefully.

Sonakshi praised the strength of the country's youth and said seeing them made her believe in them even more. She also admired them for standing by their beliefs despite challenges.

The recent support from her father, Shatrughan Sinha, for Sonakshi Sinha on the BJP IT cell issue over student protests in Jharkhand underscores the strong bond between a father and daughter.

Refering to an month-old interview to media, Sonakshi once said she has never faced “reverse nepotism” in her life, even though her father, Shatrughan Sinha, is a veteran actor. He was not directly involved in helping her start her career.

Sonakshi made her debut alongside Salman Khan in Abhinav Kashyap’s 2010 hit Dabangg. She further said that her father, Shatrughan Sinha, has always given her the freedom to choose her own path.

She recalls that even when she was studying fashion designing, he supported the career path she had chosen. However, life eventually took her in a different direction.

She describes her father as a “silent supporter” who always has her back, regardless of the circumstances.

According to Sonakshi, having such strength and support from a father means a lot to a daughter, especially in today’s time.

When Sonakshi decided to become an actor, her father’s only advice was to follow her own path and that he believed she would do well.

She says those words gave her the confidence to move forward.

Unlike his strict onscreen persona in System, Shatrughan Sinha is described by Sonakshi as a very soft and caring father.

Although he appears tough and is known for his famous “khamosh” style, she says he is actually very gentle.

However, his affectionate nature does not mean that he avoids giving honest criticism to his daughter.
