Sunil Pal’s Shocking Claim About Samay Raina: Comedian Sunil Pal has been openly critical of Samay Raina since the India’s Got Latent controversy began in 2025.
He later appeared as a guest with Samay on Kapil Sharma’s Netflix show, The Great Indian Kapil Show, but afterwards said he regretted it.
Sunil now claims the episode was staged to make him look bad and calls the show “fixed.”

Sunil Pal's appearance on The Kapil Sharma Show: In May, Sunil Pal appeared on The Great Indian Kapil Show with Samay Raina and Ranveer Allahbadia.
He told Hindi Rush that Kapil welcomed him warmly and mentioned his previous visits to the show. Sunil said he expected to perform stand-up comedy and prepared for it.
But when Sunil took the stage, he said he had not had a chance to perform stand-up. He remembered that most of the episode was just regular conversation and felt the interaction was one-sided.

Sunil said the two comedians remain at odds because Samay does not understand his perspective, but he added that there are no hard feelings between them.
He also mentioned the phrase “Jahaan hai gaaliya, wahaan hai Alia,” suggesting that Alia’s appearance was connected to the use of abusive language.

Samay said he does not think about Sunil and believes that when someone keeps saying negative things about others, it might mean they are dealing with personal issues or insecurities.

He said Sunil might be frustrated or not at peace. Samay made it clear that he does not know Sunil personally and has nothing against him.

Key Facts About Stand-Up Comedian Sunil Pal
Sunil Pal was born on 2 May 1975 in Chandpur District, Maharashtra. He attended Janta Vidyalaya City Branch School in Ballarspur and completed his schooling there.
In college, he enjoyed mimicking his professors and actors. After graduation, he studied for three more years before working as a waiter at a tea stall.
In 2000, he went abroad to work as a junior artist on the set of Aamir Khan's film “Lagaan”. He also worked with famous actors like Aishwarya Rai and Preity Zinta.
Sunil Pal grew up in a middle-class family. Coming from a modest background, he had a father who worked for Indian Railways and a mother who was a dedicated homemaker.
The family moved to Mumbai in 1995. He is married to Sarita, and they have two sons, Saral Pal and Prahal Pal, as well as a daughter.
His journey in Bollywood kicked off in 2004 with the feature film Hum Tum. In 2005, he won Star One’s ‘Great Indian Laughter Challenge 1’.
The next year, he hosted ‘The Great Indian Comedy Show’. In 2010, he took part in Comedy Champions and Comedy Circus Ke Superstars.
Some of his films include Phir Hera Pheri (2006), Apna Sapna Money Money (2006), Bombay to Goa (2007), and Krazzy (2008).
In 2010, he produced and directed ‘Bhavnao Ko Samjho’, which was listed in the Guinness Book of World Records for featuring 51 stand-up comedians in one film.
He also appeared in Money Back Guarantee and acted in the Marathi film Sasu Cha Swayamvar, released in 2025.
Later, he was seen in Main Hoon Rajinikanth (2015), Dirty Politics (2015), and Teri Bhabhi Hai Pagle (2018).
