Varun Dhawan latest controversy news: Varun’s new film, Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai, is facing legal issues. Producer Vashu Bhagnani has filed a Rs 400 crore lawsuit in the Bombay High Court against Tips Industries, director David Dhawan, and others.
He claims they used two songs, "Chunnari Chunnari" and "Ishq Sona Hai," from his 1999 film Biwi No. 1 without permission. That film was also directed by David Dhawan.
Even with the legal dispute, the filmmakers recently released the movie’s trailer, which includes both songs in the background. They also put out the video for "Chunnari Chunnari" from the film.
Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai is directed by David Dhawan and produced by Ramesh Taurani for Tips Films. Gaurav Bose from Maximilian Films is the co-producer.
The main cast features Varun, Mrunal Thakur, and Pooja Hegde, with Maniesh Paul, Chunky Panday, Jimmy Shergill, and Mouni Roy in supporting roles.
