Yami Gautam Instagram Post: Sharing the film's announcement post on Instagram, Dhurandhar-fame director Aditya Dhar cracked a joke on her actress wife with the caption 'so this is what I married into!' Responding to him, Yami said, “Hahaha... writer saahab... aap filmon mein try kyun nahin karte? Intezar kijiye 16 October ka.”

The horror-comedy will hit theatres on October 16 this year. The story is about a perfect bride who turns a chaotic household in Meerut into a happy home.

But her brother-in-law starts to think she might be hiding a supernatural secret and could actually be a daayan.

Madhok, Head of SVOD Originals at Prime Video India and Amazon MGM Studios, praised Yami's performance and the talented cast.

He called Yami Gautam Dhar brilliant and said the cast did an excellent job.

Madhok also mentioned that this is Amazon MGM Studios' first project with Aanand L Rai and Himanshu Sharma, and described the film as remarkable.

Nayyi Navelli Release Date

Madhok added that, alongside Colour Yellow, Amazon MGM Studios hopes Nayyi Navelli will be a top choice for families this Dussehra and surprise audiences. The film is expected to hit the screens on October 16 this year.

He said that when he and Himanshu Sharma first talked about the story, they were immediately interested in its unique mix of family, fantasy, humour, and adventure.

Nayyi Navelli is directed by Balaji Mohan and written by Himanshu Sharma and Divy Nidhi Sharma.

The music is by G. V. Prakash Kumar. Yami also has a brief cameo in her husband Aditya Dhar's Dhurandhar 2.
