DNA Test Confirms J&K Doctor Umar Nabi Drove i20 In The Red Fort Blast
According to the latest live Flypped news, forensic tests have confirmed that Dr Umar Nabi, the medical professional from Kashmir, was responsible for the devastating Red Fort blast in Delhi.
Until now, he was a mystery for investigators, as the explosion had left his body unrecognisable.
The massive blast on 10th November 2025 in the busy street near the New Delhi Red Fort took around 13 lives and injured many.
Such was the force of the explosion that it shook the shopfronts and sent panic waves in the Chandni Chowk area, one of the congested parts of Delhi.
Investigators had suspected that Dr Umar had purchased the white Hyundai i20 to use as a fidayeen attack 11 days before the explosion.
Based on DNA report samples received from his family members in Pulwama, Kashmir, it later tallied with human remains from the car.
It confirmed that Dr Umar was driving the Hyundai i20 when it blew.
Dr Umar Nabi Suspected of Having Links with Jaish-e-Mohammad
Officials are now linking Dr Umar's connections with the terrorist group Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) logistics module that operated between Faridabad, Lucknow, and South Kashmir.
There were around 10 members, including five to six doctors. They used their medical credentials to acquire the required chemicals for the explosives.
Raids Seize 2,900 Kg of Ammonium Nitrate from Faridabad Warehouse
According to Delhi Police, since November 9, Umar has been missing, a day after raids seized 2,900 kg of ammonium nitrate from a Faridabad warehouse.
He is believed to have gone underground near Dhauj village, switched off his phones, and become inactive in university duties since October 30.
Probe widens with arrests linked to JeM’s new women’s wing.
The ongoing probe is getting widened, and police have arrested more people, including Dr Shaheen Shahid, a former lecturer from Faridabad.
She is the first woman to lead the JeM group. The other two doctors include Muzammil Ahmad Ganai and Ajamul Ahmed Malik.
Investigators are interrogating them over their suspected role in the network. Raids have also targeted homes of JeM (Jamaat-e-Islami) terrorists, with the arrest of Maulvi Irfan.
He is believed to have trained these three doctors and is behind the expanding terror group in India.
