Modi Calls France ‘Special Partner’, Launches H-125 Line with Macron
On Tuesday, during the inauguration of the assembly line of the H-125 helicopter with French President Emmanuel Macron, Prime Minister Narendra Modi termed France as a ‘special partner’.

Discussing the H-125 helicopter, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that, through the India-France partnership, a helicopter will be manufactured that will rule the skies, capable of reaching the heights of Mount Everest.
He further added that the two nations have decided to advance their relationship to a special global strategic partnership.
Modi made remarks during his visit to Mumbai for a joint press meet with Macron.

During the press meet, Modi was heard saying ‘India and France ties are seamless with no fixed boundaries.
In the current turbulent world, the partnership between the two countries is a welcome step toward global stability.
French President Emmanuel Macron arrived in Mumbai early Tuesday morning for a three-day visit to India.
During this scheduled time frame, he will also participate in the India Impact Summit 2026, which will run for five days from 16 February 2026 to 20 February 2026 in New Delhi.
Here, he will hold bilateral conversations with the Indian Prime Minister.
