Trump Warns Iran Over Qatar Gas Attack After Gulf Strikes
Amid the ongoing war between the United States and Iran, US President Donald Trump recently made a statement about Israel to stop further attacks on Iran’s main South Pars gas field.
He also warned Tehran against attacking Qatar's gas hub amid ongoing tensions in the Middle East, which have driven up global oil prices.
In his post on Truth Social, he said ‘’Israel, out of anger for what has taken place in the Middle East, has violently lashed out at a major facility known as South Pars Gas Field in Iran. ‘’A relatively small section of the whole has been hit.’’
Israel-Iran Conflict: US Was Not Involved In The South Pars Attack, Says Donald Trump
According to Trump, the United States has no involvement in the attack on South Pars, and it was Israel who actually carried out the operation.
He said’’ The United States knew nothing about this particular attack, and the country of Qatar was in no way, shape, or form involved with it, nor did it have any idea that it was going to happen.’’
Trump’s remarks came after Iran threatened to attack once again across the Gulf for yesterday’s bombing in South Pars, the world’s largest natural gas field.
In a statement, warnings from Iranian officials have also come forth regarding an imminent attack on five energy sites in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar.

According to Qatar’s Ministry of Defence, Iran initiated an immediate attack on the Qatar Ras Laffan LNG hub on Thursday.
Being the key hub for liquefied natural gas and the backbone of the Gulf state’s economy, it has been targeted repeatedly throughout the conflict.
As far as the Trump statement, Iran was unaware of the South Pars attack, and the attack on the part of Qatar’s LNG Gas facility was unfairly targeted.
