Sachin Tendulkar’s Advice to Vaibhav Sooryavanshi on Vice-Captaincy
At present, 15-year-old Vaibhav Sooryavanshi has become one of the most-followed cricketers in the world. With so much potential, he is now the youngest cricketer to be included in the Indian senior men’s cricket team. At 15, he has proved his worth as a top scorer in the IPL season and is even called ‘Generational Talent’ by experienced players like Ravichandran Ashwin.
When Vaibhav was made vice-captain of the East Zone in the Duleep Trophy, it did not seem like the right decision to veteran cricketer Sachin Tendulkar, who says the team should take things slowly rather than burdening a young cricketer with new responsibilities.
