Sooryavanshi was noticed for pushing a Sri Lanka A player. Since then, more details about the incident have emerged.
According to Cricbuzz, Vishen Halambage from Sri Lanka began the exchange by shouting at Sooryavanshi after Sri Lanka A’s win in Dambulla.
Halambage said, “Match over…now you go home.” Sooryavanshi replied with his own comments.

Vaibhav Sooryavanshi Altercation: Tension increased as Sooryavanshi left the field. He looked upset after the Sri Lankan players, who were celebrating, seemed to say something to him.
After that, Sooryavanshi walked up to one of the players and pushed him.
The two players then got physical and nearly fought, but other Sri Lanka A players stepped in to stop them.

Cricbuzz reported that the Sri Lanka A team did not want a tie-breaker at that time.
“There should not have been a Super Over in the first place,” a SLC official told Cricbuzz.
In the series, India A lost two matches in a row to Sri Lanka A and Afghanistan A after winning their first game against Sri Lanka A.
Sooryavanshi has found it difficult in Sri Lanka, scoring 12, 44, and 21 in the three matches he has played so far.
