Aamir Khan Gauri Spratt Wedding: Aamir Khan has shared new details about his upcoming wedding to Gauri Spratt. He said they want the ceremony to be small and private.

Khan recently confirmed that he and Gauri will get married on July 5. They have decided on a simple registered wedding with only close family and friends present.

He told Deccan Chronicle that they do not want a big celebration and would rather keep the event private.

Khan introduced Spratt to the media on his 60th birthday earlier this year, confirming their relationship. Since then, fans have been eager for more updates about their wedding.

Earlier, in an interview with Variety India, the Lagaan actor confirmed he would marry Spratt. "That is true.

But now we both feel we are ready to take our relationship to the next level," Khan shared.

Khan said he already feels married to Spratt in his heart, and that this wedding is simply "a natural progression of their partnership."

She is also the granddaughter of Philip Spratt, a British-born Communist who moved to India in the 1920s and later joined India's freedom movement.

Aamir Khan’s first marriage was to Reena Dutta, and the couple has two children, Junaid and Ira. He later married filmmaker Kiran Rao, and they have a son named Azad.

Gauri was born in Bengaluru and grew up in a multicultural family. Her father, Robert Spratt, has Tamil and British heritage, and her mother, Rita Spratt, is of Punjabi and Irish descent.

Gauri's paternal grandfather, Philip Spratt, was born in Britain. He moved to India in the 1920s as a Communist and later joined the freedom movement.

Gauri went to Blue Mountain School in Bengaluru before moving to London to study fashion styling and photography at the University of the Arts London, where she graduated in 2004.

Since 2007, she has been a partner and director at BBlunt, a well-known salon chain, and now manages a BBlunt salon in Mumbai.

Earlier, she worked in fashion design and textiles in Bengaluru. She is also said to be working with Aamir Khan Productions.

Gauri, 47, has a 7-year-old son, Quinn, from a previous marriage.

He is expected to return for the sequel to 3 Idiots, where reports say Rancho will be shown as a married man facing midlife challenges.

Aamir Khan Productions is supporting a documentary about President Droupadi Murmu.

The film follows her journey from a small tribal village in Odisha to Rashtrapati Bhavan, focusing on her public service, personal struggles, and key achievements.

President Murmu is the first tribal woman to become India’s president.

The documentary is directed by Svati Chakravarty Bhatkal, who previously worked with Aamir Khan on the Rubaru Roshni series.

Filming has started in Murmu’s home village in Odisha.

The film features archival footage, real locations, interviews, and dramatized scenes with local theatre actors.
