Bollywood Celebs Support Sonam Wangchuk Hunger Strike: Sonam Wangchuk has been on a hunger strike for 18 days, and people are increasingly worried about his health.
In recent days, many celebrities have spoken out in support of him and his efforts to help students.
Veteran actress Zeenat Aman was one of the first to support Wangchuk.
She posted a detailed message, calling him one of India's greatest minds and urging the government to initiate a peaceful dialogue with him immediately.
She said society should not remain silent when someone so important is at risk.

Bollywood Celebs Support Sonam Wangchuk Hunger Strike: Naseeruddin Shah, Swara Bhasker Support Wangchuk
Naseeruddin Shah and Ratna Pathak Shah signed a joint statement supporting the protesters' demands and encouraged Wangchuk to end his fast.
Actress Shreya Dhanwanthary praised Wangchuk for his peaceful protest but urged him to end his fast before his health is permanently harmed.
Actress Swara Bhasker went to Jantar Mantar to meet Wangchuk and CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke.
She later posted on Instagram, saying Wangchuk was fighting for the future of India's children and thanked him for his efforts.
Swara also joined the protest at Jantar Mantar and spoke to the crowd.

Sonam Wangchuk Protest: Omi Vaidya, known for 3 Idiots, shared an emotional video comparing Wangchuk to the film's character Phunsukh Wangdu, played by Aamir Khan.
He said he did not want "Phunsukh Wangdu" to die and urged people to notice Wangchuk's declining health and support his cause.

Bollywood Celebs Support Sonam Wangchuk Hunger Strike: Fatima Sana Shaikh took to Instagram to share photos of Sonam Wangchuk and express concern for his health.
She wrote that after 19 days of fasting, it was wrong to wait until it was too late to listen to someone who had done so much for the country.
She also said Wangchuk should not have to risk his health just to be heard.
Sonakshi Sinha, Aditi Rao Hydari Support Sonam Wangchuk
Among the celebrities who have come in support is actress Sonakshi Sinha. She has voiced her support for Sonam Wangchuk, who is on an indefinite hunger strike in New Delhi as part of the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) protests.
In a video posted online, Sonakshi urged the government to speak with Wangchuk and said she could no longer remain silent.
On the 18th day of Wangchuk's hunger strike, Sonakshi pointed out that he had not eaten and was fighting for the future of children who had died.
She said he was standing up to a system that was not working and believed many people knew this.
Sonakshi questioned why more people were not speaking out. She said that even if others stayed silent, she could not, no matter what.
She urged the authorities to speak with Wangchuk and expressed concern that no one would listen or initiate a conversation.
Sonakshi also clarified that her support for Wangchuk was not against the country.
Aditi Rao Hydari also posted a photo of Wangchuk on Instagram. She wrote that political differences shape a country, but real character is shown through humanity and that every life matters.

Bollywood Celebs Support Sonam Wangchuk Hunger Strike: Actor Imran Khan posted a detailed note on Instagram about the NEET paper leak.
In another post, he shared an animated image of cockroaches following Mahatma Gandhi and said the movement was about standing up for the future, using hashtags for Wangchuk and the "Chalo Sansad" campaign.
Actor Atul Kulkarni said he would fast for one day at home to support Wangchuk.
In a video, he explained that fasting would help him understand the pain Wangchuk and his supporters feel and encourage the government to respond with more care.
Sonam Wangchuk Hunger Strike: Anurag Kashyap Backs Activist, Slams Silence Over Hunger Strike
Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap also supported Education activist Sonam Wangchuk by sharing several photos and a long Instagram Story.
He wrote that hunger strikes once held great meaning and reflected strong beliefs, and said it was upsetting to see the system now ignore them.
Kashyap called Wangchuk brave and driven by truth, justice, and empathy.
He admitted he lacked the courage to protest in the same way and said that leaders' silence was troubling. He ended by expressing his support for Wangchuk.
Soni Razdan Backs Sonam Wangchuk's Cause, Asks Him to End Fast
Bollywood Celebs Support Sonam Wangchuk Hunger Strike: Soni Razdan also joined other celebrities in asking Wangchuk to end his fast.
She urged him to take care of his health, keep fighting, and stop the hunger strike.
She shared news of his hunger strike on Instagram Stories but made it clear that her support was only for Wangchuk and his cause.
Razdan said he was fighting for education and the future of children and urged the government to take his concerns seriously.
She also distanced herself from CJP, saying she disagreed with their approach and believed they were using Wangchuk's struggle for their own agenda.
Bigg Boss 17 Fame Ayesha Khan Backs Sonam Wangchuk, Questions Bollywood's Silence
Ayesha Khan, known from Bigg Boss 17, also supported Wangchuk's cause.
She said she had not been aware of the hunger strike before and asked the paparazzi and entertainment media to pay more attention to this issue.
She pointed out that society often gets distracted by glamour and controversies and misses important issues.
Similarly, veteran actress Kunickaa Sadanand posted a video asking people to support those who question the government.
She said democracy depends not just on voting but also on people standing up for each other's rights and not ignoring those who speak out for truth and justice.
She also showed her support by sharing a video on her Instagram Stories.
Sadanand said Wangchuk was not making unreasonable demands but was simply asking the government to be accountable.
Her post also asked why many well-known people in the film industry have stayed silent.
