Similarly, Inaamulhaq decided not to continue with the film for a few reasons.

He was busy with his own production and wanted to better understand his character before agreeing. Besides that he also wanted to fully understand the story before taking the role.

The exact reason for his absence has never been officially shared. Meanwhile, his brother Daler Mehndi makes a brief cameo instead.

The film opened on Welcome To The Jungle's Box Office Collection day and made another ₹3.75 crore from paid previews.

Its earnings grew over the weekend, reaching ₹20 crore on Saturday and ₹24.75 crore on Sunday, which was the highest single-day total.

With Monday’s earnings, the film’s total net collection in India is now ₹72.25 crore, and its gross stands at ₹85.67 crore.

Raveena has made a hit pair with Akshay Kumar, appearing in many films together. Coming back to Welcome to the Jungle, Raveena Tandon plays Zoya, a character who moves the story along.

Her portrayal of a villager feels real and easy to connect with. As the story develops, she stands out and keeps the comedy lively.

In an interview with NDTV, she said she is happy about the film's box-office success, enjoyed working on set, and still thinks Akshay Kumar is the biggest prankster.

She uses examples like Dumb and Dumber and Mr Bean episodes to show that it is not always fair to expect logic in comedy. In the end, she says the criticism confuses her, but she is happy the film is doing well.

Raveena also says she is happy to see people coming back to theatres. After a difficult period for the industry, she believes the main goal is to entertain people and make them laugh.
