Kiara Advani controversy: Geetu Mohandas’ new gangster film, Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups, has been delayed three times but continues to make news.

Some reports recently claimed that Kiara Advani asked the filmmakers to tone down a romantic scene with Yash, but she called these rumours baseless.

Kiara Advani reaction: A report by Gulte said there were rumours that Kiara asked Yash and Geetu to cut some intimate scenes in Toxic after seeing the footage.

The report also said she filmed a 'bold romantic sequence' with Yash after being assured she would be comfortable, but later changed her mind after watching it. 

The report added that some industry insiders claimed Kiara asked Yash and Geetu to shorten or tone down the scene in the final version. As the news spread online, people reacted in different ways. 

Kiara Advani Rumours: Actress Calls ‘Absolute Nonsense!

Kiara saw an Instagram post by KoiMoi that said, “Kiara Advani requests makers to tone down bold scenes with Yash in Toxic.”

She shared it on her Instagram Stories and called the rumours “Absolute nonsense!”

About Toxic

Toxic is a Kannada-English film directed by Geetu Mohandas and produced by Venkat K Narayana and Yash under KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations. Yash plays two roles, Raaya and Ticket, while Kiara plays Nadia. 

The cast also features Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria, and Rukmini Vasanth. officially announced in December 2023, with filming from August 2024 to October 2025. 

The film was first set to release on April 10, 2025, but was pushed to 2026. It was then rescheduled for March 19, 2026, but postponed again due to the West Asian conflict and to avoid clashing with Dhurandhar 2. It will not be released on June 4, 2026, either.sh for its sensual scenes. 

While speaking to Sabeen Faheem, an American content creator and host, at a recent Comic Con event, Yash said Geetu has a clear mindset and does her work with strong conviction.

The Toxic hero also praised her writing skills, saying he could learn so much from her.

Yash further mentioned how he became familiar with the way women express her desire, emotions, and romance in a unique way. 

Kiara Advani Latest News: Actress Enjoying Vacation in Maldives

Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra are on vacation in the Maldives with their baby girl, Saraayah. In one video, Kiara joins in singing the Baby Shark song, giving fans a glimpse of her fun side as a mom.

On Wednesday, the couple gave fans a peek into their vacation on Instagram.

Kiara shared Instagram stories showing their scenic seaplane ride and a delicious spread of croissants and desserts.

In one clip, Sidharth spends time with his baby girl in the background. Her face isn’t shown, but viewers enjoyed the sweet moment.

Another photo shows the couple relaxing on their balcony as they watch the sunset. In another picture, you can spot a pair of tiny kids’ sunglasses.

Fans React to Kiara’s Daughter Baby Shark Song

In one video, Kiara sings the Baby Shark song while a chef prepares their meal. A child can be heard laughing behind the camera as he records the candid moment. “Amazing… What talent,” he says.

Sidharth hinted they could be in the Maldives for a collaboration. He posted a behind-the-scenes photo of himself and Kiara, both facing away from the camera.

Sidharth wore a white shirt and blue jeans, and Kiara stood out in a pink shirt and white trousers.

Even though her face wasn’t clear, fans recognised her. Sidharth captioned the photo, "Guess who I'm shooting with."

In July last year, Sidharth and Kiara announced the birth of their baby girl. Their message read, “Our hearts are full and our world forever changed. We are blessed with a baby girl.”

After the announcement, they denied photographers permission to photograph their girl child. Later on, both Kiara and Siddharth shared the name of their newborn, Saraayah Malhotra.

The Shershaah co-actors married in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan, in 2023.

On the work front, Kiara is preparing for her next film, Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups, directed by Geetu Mohandas.

The movie stars Yash in a dual role, along with Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, Rukmini Vasanth, Tara Sutaria, and Akshay Oberoi.

This period gangster drama is highly anticipated, as it marks Yash's return after KGF 2 in 2022. Venkat K. Narayana and Yash are co-producing the film under KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations.

Toxic was filmed in both Kannada and English. Its release was originally scheduled for June 4 but has been postponed.
