Mohammad Junaid backs CJP Leadership: Mohammad Junaid, a volunteer with the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) and a main organiser of the Jantar Mantar protest, denied rumours of disagreements with Abhijeet Dipke’s group.

In a video posted on Monday, Junaid urged supporters not to believe what he called fake rumours and said CJP leaders continued to support him.

CJP spokesperson and legal contact Ratna Singh asked people to stop spreading false information and hate. She said the issue at Junaid's home was resolved quickly.

He said that he and his family were safe and healthy. He thanked everyone for their support and prayers, and added that the party’s leaders continued to support him.

He explained that the rumours were intended to harm the movement. The CJP posted the video on Instagram.

Junaid claimed that Uttar Pradesh Police raided his family's residence in Ghaziabad on the day the CJP protest concluded and collected their bank passbooks and PAN cards.

He also said police harassed his relatives in Meerut. The CJP condemned these actions.

Party spokesperson Saurav Das called it an illegal police crackdown against Junaid by the Uttar Pradesh Police.

According to him, the party has stood by Junaid from the start, providing every possible help and calling for the immediate release of his detained family members.

Meerut Police official Vinayak Gopal Bhonsle told the media that they checked with all police station heads and found that none of Junaid's family members had been detained.
