India's pace attack has been inconsistent and prone to injuries, with several key players missing key matches due to fitness issues.
The team has had to rotate its pace options frequently, and Hardik Pandya, a key all-rounder, is also sidelined due to injury.

Badruddin pointed out that the over-reliance on indoor training and gym workouts has been a problem for fast bowlers, who also need ground-based fitness through running and sprinting.

He also questioned whether fast bowlers are being given enough rest between demanding assignments, as they require at least a month of recovery.
