Kriti Sanon Ad Controversy: Meghna Steps Up To Defend Kareena, States an Actor’s Costume is Determined By Director’s Vision
At a recent event, when asked about her thoughts on Kriti Sanon's ad, Kareena opted to dodge the question. She remarked that it wasn’t her place to comment.
This response has intrigued many, sparking conversations about why celebrities often steer clear of controversial topics.
Some speculate that avoiding these discussions helps them maintain a positive public image amid intense scrutiny.
According to Meghna, an actor's costume is determined by the character and the director's vision. She pointed out that it is the character and the director who decide what the actor wears, no matter the actor's gender.
Moreover, Meghna thought it was unfair to put only one actor in the question. The jewellery brand GIVA has launched an ad for Raksha Bandhan starring Kriti Sanon.
In the advertisement, Kriti is seen celebrating the festival with her brother and tying a rakhi on a pet dog. She is dressed in an Indo-Western style with a blouse similar to a bralette, a cape and a draped skirt.

Ex Roadies Judge Raghu Ram Reaction to Kriti Sanon’s Controversial Ad, Calls ‘’ Ghatiya Soch’’
While many people were talking about Kriti Sanon's outfit in a Raksha Bandhan advertisement, Raghu Ram, who was previously a judge on Roadies, posted a video on Instagram in which he questioned why her clothes caused such a reaction and why men should have the right to decide what women wear.
Raghu thought the controversy was unwarranted, noting that the advertisement simply depicted a sister tying a rakhi around her brother.
Since the brother wasn't involved in any way, he couldn't understand why people were so upset and therefore asked them to state what was wrong.
Raghu rejected the idea that women's clothing could lead to sexual harassment or rape, asserting that this belief is incorrect and shows a criminal attitude.
He mentioned a previous comment by the politician who had compared women wearing revealing clothes to an uncovered box of sweets attracting flies. Raghu then asked why men should have the right to decide what women wear.
Raghu concluded his message by urging viewers to consider those two questions and post their opinions in the comments section. He also said that he would keep on discussing this subject.
