WFH for two days: Delhi CM Rekha Gupta, along with cabinet ministers Parvesh Verma, Ashish Sood, and Manjinder Singh Sirsa, said the private sector will be encouraged to let employees work from home.

The labour department will check if companies follow the “At the government level, employees will work from home for two days each week,” said the Delhi CM.

“The private sector “will be advised to offer work from home. The labour department will monitor this. They should allow employees to work from home,” she said.

The central government is also urging all states to “lead by example,” so more states may announce similar steps by the end of the week.
