Gurmeet Ram Rahim walks out of Prison: Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh, the Dera Sacha Sauda chief, who is serving a 20-year prison sentence for raping two female disciples, is out on 21 days of furlough.

Lodged in the Rohtak Sunaria jail in Haryana, he has been allowed to leave prison to visit the Dera Sacha Sauda headquarters in Sirsa.

In this law, eligible prisoners are allowed to get 70 days of parole and 21 days of furlough per year. The concerned authority approves it.
