Jitendra Mishra Appointed Ram Temple CEO: Air Marshal Jeetendra Mishra (Retired) has been appointed the first chief executive officer of the Ram Temple Trust, selected from among more than 5,000 applicants.
He previously held high positions in the Indian Air Force and was in charge of the Western Command during Operation Sindoor.
In his new role, he intends to improve the temple's management and increase the transparency of its finances.

Retired Air Marshal Jitendra Mishra began his career as a fighter pilot in the Indian Air Force in December 1986 and retired in May 2026 after more than 38 years of service.
He attended the National Defence Academy in Pune, the Air Force Test Pilots School in Bangalore, the Air Command and Staff College in the USA, and the Royal College of Defence Studies in the UK.

Jitendra Mishra Appointed Ram Temple CEO: The appointment is part of several changes to the Ram Temple Trust resulting from the donation theft in Ayodhya; three new members have meanwhile been added: Madan Mohan Pandey from Ayodhya, Mahesh Bhagchandka from Delhi, and Nirmala Yadav from Shikohabad.
Eight people, most of whom were in charge of counting donations, have been arrested. Champat Rai, the general secretary of the trust, has withdrawn his resignation from the post.
The search panel was headed by the retired judge Pramod Kohli, together with the retired Lieutenant General Vishnukant Chaturvedi and the former scientist Suresh Haware.

These individuals were assessed regarding their leadership and management skills, integrity, and vision, all of which are necessary to lead an institution of national and international importance.

Air Marshal (Retired) Mishra is noted for his strong leadership.
He has held the positions of :
- Deputy Chief of the Integrated Defence Staff (Operations)
- Commander of a fighter squadron
- Chief Test Pilot at the Aircraft and Systems Testing Establishment (ASTE)
- Air Officer Commanding two major air bases
- Director of the Operational Planning and Assessment Group
- Principal Director (ASR), Commandant of ASTE
- Deputy Chief of the Integrated Defence Staff (Doctrine, Organisation and Training)
Recipient of Military Decorations
He has been awarded military decorations, including the Sarvottam Yudh Seva Medal, the Ati Vishisht Seva Medal, and the Vishisht Seva Medal, in recognition of his distinguished service.
Mishra’s Key Responsibilities as New Ram Temple CEO
The CEO will establish systems, procedures, and operational practices to meet the organisation's needs and develop and reinforce the organisational structure so that the institution can achieve its objectives and accommodate its size.
The CEO will serve as the highest executive and will be responsible for the organisation as a whole and for its staff.
The CEO will ensure that the trust's current operations continue without issue and will, at the same time, guide the trust as it grows, ensuring that all legal, regulatory, and Trust Deed requirements are met.
