Netanyahu Warns Iran: Says Iran Could Face Fresh Israeli Strikes if Needed
Netanyahu Warns Iran: Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said earlier strikes on Iran had protected Israel from nuclear destruction.
He warned that Israel is ready to launch a third strike if needed and emphasized that military action is still possible, even as Washington and Tehran work to finalize a peace deal after months of tension.
Netanyahu Warns Iran: Signals Fresh Military Action if Iran Nuclear Threat Continues
Netanyahu said Israel would act on its own to prevent Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons. He added that another operation could take place if Israel’s security needs are not met, according to Turkey’s state-run Anatolia Agency.
The agency quoted Netanyahu from an interview with Israel’s Channel 14, where he restated his government’s firm position on Iran’s nuclear program and defended previous military actions against Tehran.

Israel Iran Tensions: Netanyahu Warns Israel Will Strike Again if Iran Revives Nuclear Program
Israeli Prime Minister Warning: Netanyahu said Iran has been stopped from getting atomic weapons and would act again if needed.
The US and Iran are still trying to turn a preliminary ceasefire into a wider political agreement and are supported by both regional and international groups.
The main goals are to stop the fighting, reduce sanctions, address nuclear concerns, and improve security in the Middle East.
Months of military clashes, which grew worse after US and Israeli actions against Iranian targets earlier this year, led to retaliatory attacks from Tehran and increased fears of a wider war in the region.
Details of the proposed framework show that Washington and Tehran have agreed in principle to gradually ease tensions.
The plan includes promises to stop military action, reopen the Strait of Hormuz, discuss easing sanctions, and find ways to address Iran’s nuclear activities.
Israel May Strike Iran Again: Israel Draws Red Line Despite Iran's Fresh Nuclear Assurance
Netanyahu Warns Iran: Iran has again stated that it will not develop nuclear weapons, although wider technical talks are still underway.
However, Israel has made it clear that it does not consider itself bound by any deal that, in its view, leaves Iran’s military or nuclear abilities unchanged.
Israel has also called for restraint and warned against further escalation.
Tehran Nuclear Program: Trump Warns Netanyahu Against More Strikes, Pushes for Iran Diplomacy
Trump told Axios that he warned Netanyahu that more large-scale strikes could leave Israel isolated diplomatically and hurt ongoing talks.
He said that diplomacy is the best way to avoid another regional conflict and reportedly urged Israel not to take actions that could block a final deal with Tehran.
US officials said Washington tried to support Israel’s security needs while also working to prevent a wider conflict.
Despite these efforts, tensions remain high. After Israeli strikes on Hezbollah positions in Beirut, Iran fired missiles at Israel, which led to Israeli strikes inside Iran.
Iranian Nuclear Threat: Why Netanyahu Says Israel Won't Withdraw from Southern Lebanon Yet
Netanyahu Warns Iran: The US did not join those attacks but helped with Israel’s air defense.
Netanyahu has continued to defend the military campaign, saying Israeli actions have seriously weakened both Iran and Hezbollah and delayed what he called an immediate nuclear threat.
With this in mind, Netanyahu visited Israeli-held areas in southern Lebanon on Tuesday and promised that Israeli forces would remain there, even after recent security agreements with Beirut.
Netanyahu Latest News: Israel Won't Leave Southern Lebanon Yet, Netanyahu Declares
Israel Iran Latest Update: Netanyahu told Israeli troops they would not leave southern Lebanon until the threat is gone. He said that as long as Hezbollah remains in the area, armed and posing a threat, Israeli forces will also stay there.
This was Netanyahu’s first visit to occupied Lebanese territory since a US-backed security deal suggested limited Israeli withdrawal from some areas and more Lebanese military control.
With Tehran pushing to turn the current framework into a binding agreement and Israel insisting on its right to act alone, the next few weeks will likely show whether diplomacy can succeed or if the region will return to conflict.
Global Conflict De-escalated: US, Israel, and Iran Sign Peace Memorandum Following Two-Month Standoff
On February 28, the US and Israel launched attacks on Iran in an operation called 'Operation Fury.' US forces targeted over 13,000 sites in Iran and killed Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
In response, Iran struck US bases, infrastructure, and other locations in Gulf countries such as the UAE and Saudi Arabia.
Both sides agreed to a ceasefire on April 7 and signed a 14-point memorandum to end the conflict earlier this month.
Trump Emphasizes Diplomacy Over Military Action Amid Reported Back-Channel Iran Talks
Earlier this month, the US President said America could "very easily" launch strikes in Iran.
Trump said that bombing for two or three weeks would destroy everything, but it would also close the strait for months and cause many deaths.
He also said that making a deal would be "stronger than doing the bombing."
During the negotiations, the US said that envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner were in Doha, Qatar, for talks with Iran. Tehran said that no meeting took place.
The U.S media reported that the talks were indirect, with US and Iranian delegations in Doha communicating through mediators.
