Iran Attacks US Bases In Bahrain, Kuwait After Fresh American Attacks

Iran Attacks US Bases: The US carried out another airstrike on Iran on Wednesday night. According to US Central Command (CENTCOM), about 90 Iranian military sites were hit. 

These included air defence systems, missile and drone storage, surveillance and naval bases, and logistics centres.

Iran Launches Strikes on US Bases: Iran's state news agency IRNA reported that three people were killed and several others were injured in the attack near Ahvaz city in Khuzestan province. 

Local officials said relief and rescue teams are. US President Donald Trump told reporters on Air Force One that he is always under threat. 

He said, "I am at the top of Iran's hit list." Trump also said Iran wants a deal, but he does not trust Tehran to keep its promises.

The US says the latest strikes are intended to limit Iran's ability to attack ships in the Strait of Hormuz. Iran says it will respond to the attack.

Iran Attacks US Bases: Bahrain's Interior Ministry said warning sirens went off and asked people to stay calm and go to the nearest safe place because of fears of an Iranian attack.

During the flight, journalists were told to keep the window blinds closed. When asked why, Trump said the flight was likely dangerous because of threats from Iran. 

He added that he is always under threat and remains at the top of their list. Trump told reporters that if anything happened to him, it could happen to them as well, and they might need to consider changing careers.

Iran released a video showing the official residence of former Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, saying it was filmed after recent US-Israeli airstrikes. 

The video shows damage to the Imam Khomeini Husseiniya and its compound, which is part of Khamenei's official residence and a place where he has attended religious and official events.

Iran Attacks US Bases: Trump told reporters aboard Air Force One that Iran had contacted the US some time ago about making a deal, but he said he does not trust them.

Trump also said the other side called recently to propose a deal, but he doubted they could follow through. 

He said his main concern was whether they would actually keep the agreement. Tensions in the Gulf region have risen after the latest US attacks. 

Bahrain Missile Attack: Air raid sirens sounded in Bahrain early Thursday. The Interior Ministry asked people to stay calm and go to the nearest safe place. 

Kuwait's air defence systems stopped incoming missile and drone attacks, the military said. However, neither Bahrain nor Kuwait has said who was responsible.

Iran Military Response: The Iranian army claimed that in response to the US airstrike, it targeted US military bases in Bahrain and Kuwait.

The new US airstrikes on Iran affected the international oil market, causing crude oil prices to rise by about 1% on Thursday. Brent crude went up 78 cents, or 1%, to $78.80 per barrel. 

WTI crude increased by 74 cents, or 1.01%, to $74.26 per barrel. Concerns about oil and gas supplies in the Strait of Hormuz led to this surge in global crude prices.

Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said the US targeted bridges on the road to Mashhad in the latest airstrike. 

Iran Attacks Gulf States: Iran Says US Strike Was Meant to Disrupt Khamenei Funeral

Iran Attacks US Bases: The IRGC claimed the attack was meant to distract people and disrupt the ceremony during Khamenei's funeral. 

Earlier, Iranian state broadcaster IRIB reported that the US military fired seven missiles at the Ak Tekeh Khan railway bridge in Golestan province, with two missiles exploding on the tracks. 

The US military said it carried out airstrikes against about 90 military targets in Iran. 

CENTCOM Unveils Video of Large-Scale US Strike on Iran 

US Iran Latest Update: US Central Command (CENTCOM) said the strikes hit air defence systems, coastal surveillance bases, missile and drone storage sites, naval bases, and military logistics facilities. 

CENTCOM released a video of the latest airstrike, saying about 90 Iranian military sites were targeted in the July 8 operation. 

Iran said a US airstrike killed three people on the outskirts of Ahvaz, and the Iranian state news agency IRNA reported several others were injured.
