NEET CBT Mode: Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan criticised Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and announced new reforms to the NEET exam, even as the paper leak controversy continued.

NEET CBT Mode: The Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) has been holding ongoing protests at Jantar Mantar, demanding the resignation of Dharmendra Pradhan over paper leaks and exam irregularities.
The minister was especially critical of the controversy about a Nagpur student who was assigned an exam centre in Abu Dhabi.
He explained that the student had selected Abu Dhabi on the portal several times. He said the NTA later contacted the family and offered the student a chance to take the exam in Nagpur.
Even after this, Pradhan said Rahul Gandhi continued to raise the issue in public. He said that Gandhi posted a long message about it even after the facts were clear.
Pradhan added that Gandhi should apologise to the country if he feels responsible.

He said the disruptions caused by the Congress rally in Karnataka on the day of the NEET re-test went too far and also condemned party leaders for blaming students for not leaving earlier.
Pradhan asked why the rally was not moved to another location and whether it was really needed. He also accused Gandhi of not trusting institutions or young people.
According to him, Gandhi does not have confidence in the country's system or its youth. He argued that the large, smooth turnout for the NEET exam showed that young people did not believe Gandhi's claims.

Addressing the ongoing protests at Jantar Mantar, Pradhan recognised the right to dissent but raised concerns regarding the genuine motivations of those demonstrating.
He claimed that the people protesting at Jantar Mantar wanted to divide the country and openly questioned if any real students were present.
He said they have the right to protest on behalf of students, but added that the country is watching and judging them.
Pradhan noted that students were ignoring the opposition's failed attempts to scare them and were focusing on their exams instead. He further dismissed the opposition as the "B-team" of extremists.
