Iran Closes Strait of Hormuz After Drones Strike US Embassies in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait

As per the Israel-Iran war latest news, the ongoing violence and drone strikes are pushing West Asia nearer to full-scale regional war amid increasing conflict between the US, Israel, and Iran.

​After drone attacks were reported on the US embassies in Saudi Arabia and Kuwait, the US State Department is requesting American nationals to leave the Middle East without much delay.

​Its ‘Depart Now’ notice comes to the fore amid limited flight operations returning to Abu Dhabi and Dubai.

​For the past four days, many people have been left stranded across the region due to flight cancellations and airspace closures.

Attacks Must Go On, Says the United States

According to the United States President Donald Trump, the operations in Iran are expected to carry on for another four to five weeks.

​Furthermore, he said that the US is prepared to go beyond that.

​Secretary of State Marco Rubio has briefed Congress members about ‘Operation Epic Fury. His words were, ‘Hardest hits are yet to come from the US military.’

Israel Hits Iran, Targets Lebanon Amid Rising Tensions

The recent Israel-Iran war update says Israel, with a joint operation with the US, has been continuous in its strikes in ‘the heart of Tehran’.

​Besides Iran, the Israeli military has also targeted Lebanon, after an Iran-backed group, Hezbollah, launched a drone attack near Haifa in response to Ayatollah Ali Khamenei’s death.

​After the recent attacks, which came months after the November 2024 ceasefire between Israel and Hezbollah, Lebanon has currently banned Hezbollah's military actions.

​Many people, in fact, have left Southern Lebanon for safety reasons.

Iran and Israel War News: Death Rocks West Asia

Amid the rising conflict between Israel and Iran, the death toll has risen in West Asia.​

Citing the Red Crescent, the Iranian state media has disclosed the death of 555 people and more than 700 people were injured in the continuous strikes.

​A girls’ school also came under target by the US-Israeli military strike, taking 180 lives in Minab.

​As per the announcement made by the US military on Monday, four American service members had lost their lives, and four others were critically injured during the US attack on Iran.

​Whereas, in Lebanon, 52 people lost their lives to Israeli strikes in the southern part of the country.

​The health ministry has reported that nearly 154 people suffered injuries in the clash between Israel and Hezbollah.

Deaths Caused By Iranian Strikes

Revealing more updates on the Iran and Israel war news, three people, each from Pakistan, Nepal, and Bangladesh, were killed during the attacks in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

​The Iranian strikes also left 58 people injured. In fact, in Israel, 10 people have died because of Iranian strikes. Whereas, in Iraq, two people were killed.

​Adding more death numbers, each person has been killed in Bahrain, Kuwait, and Oman. Meanwhile, 16 people got injured in Qatar because of Iranian strikes.

​The death toll is expected to rise due to the ongoing conflict and bombing.
